THE FEED and The Cheese Shop Nantwich have been working together for a year and here is why we hope it will be for many more.

It all started with a chance meeting at an event in August 2021, where we were first introduced to Chris Hogan and Nick Birchall, we chatted for few minutes before Chris asked for contact details and that was it, the journey had begun. We subsequently arranged a meeting in their beautiful shop on Hospital Street, Nantwich some days later.

PANIC – This was the first time we had to present THE FEED to a new set of eyes and ears, there was no pre-existing friendship, no relationship, or preconceptions. This was new, exciting and to be honest we were bricking it!

First impressions are everything and on this occasion they couldn’t have been better. The passion they both shared for their business, products and future were clear from the offset – we need to work with these guys, was our first impression, thankfully that’s exactly what we did.

The focus from Chris and Nick at that first meeting, was that “it’s all about the cheese”. So, how do THE FEED help, what do we need to do? More importantly, our favourite cheese is – melted, so we have lots to learn.

Our partnership evolved quickly, a style developed and as a team we started to learn from one another. Weekly meetings, frequent communication, but our job was made easier by their drive to innovate, provide high quality products, and keep standards high. That has never changed or even diminished at any point.

Over the course of the last 12 months, there have been unforgettable moments. Some as simple as learning about cheese, which is a lot more complex than you might think – Nick’s knowledge is endless and incredibly impressive. To winning the Best New Business award at the Chamber of Commerce awards, press mentions, fantastic tasting events, we have had a lot of fun.

But the most impressive thing about The Cheese Shop in our opinion, is the way it treats its customers, which in turn is why they keep coming back.

We have created a tone of voice, solid base, and a style upon which we are now able to elevate the brand and communicate with the customer in a clear, definitive way.

Reflecting upon those early days, how we presented our business. It was good, but it wasn’t right. We have evolved, nurtured, and grown over the last twelve months, which wouldn’t have been possible without the support of our partners like – The Cheese Shop Nantwich. Thank you.
